uPASS Reach is a universal UHF access control reader with operating frequency range 865 – 955 MHz.
It is based on UHF-RFID-reader-frontend-IC IDS-R902DRM, featuring support of ISO 18000-6C / EPC Class 1 Gen 2 - protocols as well as dense reader mode functionality. uPASS Reach is able to read UHF-RFID passive tags in direct line of sight and up to a distance of 4m / 13ft, and provides a visible, LED-based identification acknowledgement, thus enabling e.g. handsfree parking site access control of vehicles equipped with an authorizing, windshield-mounted ID-tag.
