IDS Microchip has a vast pool of IP (intellectual properties) at its disposal. To a great extent, our IP is protected through patents providing USP (unique selling proposition) for our partners and customers.
Our IP is mainly RFID-related with focus on integrated circuits for sensory tags, HF and UHF readers and used in both our application specific standard products (ASSP) as well as customized ASICs.
ASIC - Customized Solution.
Our ASIC business model includes the following deliverables and services:
- System level design expertise.
- Relevant intellectual property cases.
- Design and layout services.
- End-product solution including:
- Integrated circuit (ASIC).
- BOM (bill of material).
- Firmware and software if applicable.
- Application support and reference design.
The customer may leave out deliverables or services as appropriate for a specific project.
